Murshidabad is a district of Bengal and this saree is typical of the murshidabad silks that come from the region. This saree shows a design pattern of traditional hyacinths found in the region. This design pattern in white is along the border with miniature motifs floating in the blue coloured body. The palla showcases the hyacinths and alpana motifs in white, navy blue and holds a similar pattern of geometric designs and paisley motif. 
 
The saree is soft, easy to drape, lightweight and comes with a matching blouse piece. The saree is ready to wear, fully finished with fall and pico.
