This a light green (tender banana leaf colour or kochi kola pata in Bengali) cotton saree is unique in its simplicity and elegance. The body of the saree showcases floral motifs in alternating colours of blue and beige while the characteristic feature of the saree is the elaborate jamdani palla featuring a bird and floral motif. This motif is woven into the palla and is not a print. Another floral & foliage motif in blue and beige runs along the border with a blue selvedge. 
 
The saree is soft, easy to drape, lightweight and comes without a contrasting stitched blouse. The saree is ready to wear, fully finished with fall and pico.
