A shaded peach  tussar silk saree with hand paint and kantha embroidery. Half of the saree from the palla to the centre has full body handpaint and kantha work. The  other half has the continuation of an ornate floarl border with small conch shells in the body. The design pattern consists of flowers and leaves in multicolour threads.  The saree has a contrast maroon colour blouse piece.
 
Not that the nature of the embroidery craetes an uneven weave with gaps at different places of the sareee.  The uneven weave is due to the saree being tied to a frame for painting and subsequent hand-embroidery.
