This saree reminds me of what Australia meant to me when I first arrived here – long stretch of pristine beaches with blue ocean waves hitting the sandy shores. The sandy beach beige colour raw tussar silk comes with single colour, blue thread, kantha embroidery work all along the border. It has elaborate embroidery work in the body towards the palla portion (see pictures). The saree has a running blouse piece.
