It is a raw gachi by gachi tussar silk saree, with white flower and leaf motif hand embroidery kantha work all along the body and border. The palla portion continues with the floral motif intercepted with paiseley motifs which are traditional to kantha and Bengal embroidery (see pictures). The saree has a stiched blouse.
